In part one of the season finale, the crew has abandoned Discovery after setting its auto-destruct sequence, taking refuge aboard the Enterprise, all to keep the sphere data from Control. Meanwhile, Leland commands an armada of Section 31 to take the knowledge stored in Discovery’s computer contains.
