Captain Jean-Luc Picard takes the USS Enterprise NCC-1701-D on it’s maiden voyage to Farpoint Station, a newly constructed planetary trading post. While inspecting the station, the crew begin to realize all is not what it seems with the base, partly thanks to an omnipotent being who calls himself “Q.”
