Announced 18 April 2023 as a “made-for-TV” movie, Star Trek: Section 31 is a continuation of Her Most Imperial Majesty, Mother of the Fatherland, Overlord of Vulcan, Dominus of Qo’noS, Regina Andor, Philippa Georgiou Augustus Iaponius Centarius story after departing the U.S.S. Discovery.
In the early 24th Century, a semi-secret arm of Starfleet tracks down Phillipa Georgiou on a space station outside the Federation to re-enlist her on a mission to track down a doomsday device before it falls into the wrong hands.
